Dermapen Microneedling is a procedure designed to resurface the skin and improve overall skin texture. It has been shown to significantly reduce acne scars and is perfect for patients who would prefer non-heat or laser-based treatments. Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy (or "PRP") is a safe, multi-purpose treatment that provides excellent results for new cell stimulation. How does the Vampire Facial work?
The procedure starts with blood being drawn from the patient. The blood is taken the same way it would be for a normal blood test. Once blood has been collected, it is then centrifuged and the platelets are separated from the red blood cells.
The platelets are then introduced to a calcium chloride solution which causes the platelets to release growth factors. A microneedling system is then used to re-introduce the formula into your skin, resulting in a radiant glow and more youthful appearance.
